”I created this piece for the 2014 Surfrider Foundation John Kelly Awards. The theme for this year’s event is sacred places. I picked Waimea Bay because it is one of my favorites and I wanted to showcase the inside wave called Pinballs to give a different perspective to one of the places I know and love so much.” – H. Waimea Bay has been featured in The Endless Summer and Riding Giants, and the Pinballs section is characterized by it’s four to eight foot waves. In this print, Heather captures the incoming waves against the beautiful background of the Hawaiian sky, complete with palm trees and an inviting beach.
Limited Edition Giclée by North Shore Oahu Surf Artist Heather Brown. The edition is limited to only 250 pieces.
All Giclées are printed on certified poly-cotton canvas using archival pigmented inks, gallery wrapped, signed and numbered, and include a certificate of authenticity (COA).
