Originally from Southern California. Jonathan Kinsey grew up at the beach. His first career was as a clothing designer (primarily surf wear).
In 1993, he took a leap of faith and started working in wood. His appreciation of wood with it’s natural beauty and his curiosity with joinery and Japanese woodworking have guided his career. He now lives and works at his studio in Seattle.
