Large Borre-Style Bronze Strap End – Reenactment Grade

Description

Reenactment Quality Large Bronze Borre Syle Viking Strap End in Borre Style, Norway, 9 – 10th century. Based on a brooch currently in the British Museum.

– Width 28mm (1.1 inch).
– Length – 76mm (3 inch).
– Weight approx – 29g (1oz).
– Will fit straps 28 – 32mm (1.1 – 1.25 inch).
– The original is in fact a brooch and can be found in the British Museum, but this has been modified to be used a strap end for a replica Viking belt.
– It has 4 pins on the back to attach to your leather strap that can be either gently hammered down, or cut off and rounded to securely fasten to your belt.
