Hawaii craftsman Greg Scott carves scale model, modern racing canoes. Greg is a self-taught wood carver. He began wood carving as a hobby 15 years ago. His canoes are inspired by the six-man Malia canoes. Greg is a retired engineer from Southern California and now lives with his wife on Oahu, Hawaii. With his background, he has always had a fascination with the streamlined, aerodynamic shape of modern racing canoe that effortlessly skim the surface of the ocean
Greg creates beautifully-detailed replicas of these modern racing canoes for those who appreciate the speed and agility of these modern vessels.
